Welcome to April, National Poetry Month! I hope this blog post finds you well, or decent at the very least. March was a good month. I turned 22! A miracle within itself. Looking forward, I want to use the same positive energy and move through April. I have a lot of things to be grateful for. My reading slowed down last month, but I did catch some really good, thought provoking reads, which is always a plus, no matter the circumstances.
Looking to April, I’m working on restructuring this blog. Something a little more structured would keep me better present and accountable! I enjoy keeping a blog, and I want to make sure it’s the best blog I could be keeping.
It’s National Poetry Month, so I wanted to do something to reflect my deep love of poetry. So, every week of April I’ll be posting two poems! One poem will be one of mine, and one poem will not. I’m going to try my best to show how varied poetry can be, but I’m telling you now– I’m a sucker for love poems.
Also, every Friday I’ll be posting a reading queue which will detail what I’ve read that week, what I’m currently reading, and what I plan on reading for the next week. Book reviews will be posted on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays. Any health and fitness posts I have for you, you’ll catch on a Sunday.
In the middle of all this madness, I’m doing a re-read of the Harry Potter series so be prepared for those think pieces to be littered everywhere. There are few things that I’m serious about like I’m serious about HP.
So! TL;DR: You’re going to be getting regular, scheduled posts again! Poetry is happening! Also Harry Potter for some reason? (Possibly a quarter-life crisis) Get excited! See you soon!
